While some youth are referred to Organize Change, Inc. through compulsory systems such as New Jersey's Juvenile Justice Commission's diversion programs or the Division of Child Protection and Permanency, youth success must be anchored on a program structure that relates to their circumstances. Youth must be committed to and feel some sense of ownership over their lives and their opportunities for success.
Organize Change, Inc. is community based therefore focuses on offering youth a safe space while providing personal and collective advocacy for issues specifically concerning themselves and their communities.
Organize Change, Inc. welcomes all youth in need of supports and resources to assist them in their transition to independence and adulthood. Whether you are homeless, court involved, drug involved, or just need some help getting through your current situation, we are here for you.
Healthy communities must exist for healthy adolescent transition to adulthood to occur. Organize Change, Inc. focuses on collaborating with community leaders, business owners, home owners, block associations, and other community stakeholders to advocate the necessity of building strong neighborhoods and creating communities that provide opportunities for youth.
Organize Change, Inc. facilitates collaboration between youth and their communities. Youth must learn how their life decisions affect their community while communities must understand how investing in youth is in turn an investment back into the community. Community partnerships focus on job placement, intern/apprenticeships, entrepreneurial mentorship, and systems change advocacy through joint civic projects with youth.
Organize Change, Inc. invites you to make a difference in our community.
